Description of the problem	Takata recall -- i called mercedes benz in 2016 when i got first recall notice letter and got respond on the part haven't been provided. At that time, i haven't raise any conern until this month, i read a local news that mother of three killed in accident involving defective takata airbag. And then this issue bring me seriously concern. I called in augest and the local dealer say cannot take any action due to no part available and redirect me to the us customer services. Customer services respond using below logic: first, because no mb driver has been reported die by this issue, government didnt force mb to recall. Mb is voluntary in this recall. Then, since voluntary recall, so mb is not in the high priority in the list of takata. Third, not high priority of takata so we dont have part and cannot take any action. I understand the processing time of takata, but i think before takata provide new model of the airbag of takata, mb should take some action like provide temporary substitute service car for the recall car owner. I am live in florida, which is the zone 1 of the risk level , and that car is my only car. I really hope get a solution on this matter for mb instead of just waiting in fear.
